I haven't tried Play by Play to be able to compare the two but in spite of some slow months, overall I've been happy with my Gold Club experience. As macnyc noted, I can't tell you what has been offered but after a while you'll get a sense of which theaters have relationships with the clubs. For me, it's worthwhile to stick with Gold Club for those specific theaters and then take a chance on something different once in a while.

Sure, everything hasn't been great but I've also had some amazing show and concert experiences that I wouldn't have gone to if I'd had to pay full price for a ticket. I got an email from TheaterMania advertising that if you sign up for Gold Club, you'll receive two Holiday Inn tickets which " GreasedLightning said: " z5 said: " Or I joined the Gold Club last month with a one month membership to try it out and recently canceled.
I did see several off off Broadway shows with it, which I enjoyed. If I already didn't have tickets to Holiday Inn from Hiptix I would have definitely rejoined now for the year. The membership basically pays for itself with the free tickets and plus you get the opportunity to see some interesting shows in NY. I've decided to wait until the next promotion with free Broadway tickets to rejoin.
I belonged to the Gold Club for a number of years and I thought it was fantastic. Over that time I saw at least 25 Broadway shows. The last year or two have not been that great, however. I think part of the issue is that they have more members and the good stuff gets snatched up incredibly quickly.
I will be coming in Aug and looking to catch a show. Wicked is never discounted as it always sell out. You might even have trouble finding a full price ticket for August. Book now. Thanks for the advice.
I have heard it is best to have your ticket before you come especially for a sell out. Check out the discounts on www.discover-migme.hipwee.com/7617-cellphone-track-app.php

If you have to see Wicked, book it now if you can find a seat. If you're open to seeing a number of things, the TKTS booth is a great option. If you want to avoid uncertainty and want a discount ticket, go to broadwaybox. This topic has been closed to new posts due to inactivity.
